Tayler Mayde Patterns. Rosie’s Cat.

I named this cat Rosie’s cat as I first made it for my friend Rosie’s birthday present, but is in fact my cat pattern, the first crochet pattern I have written myself.
I hope it all makes sense and is easy to follow, if you come across any problems please let me know & I will try my best to fix it.
So here it is…
You will need:

  • Any DK, double knit wool/yarn, what ever colour you want your cat to be.

  • A 4.00m crochet hook, I prefer aluminium hooks.

  • Stuffing/wadding, I use the stuffing from an old pillow.

  • Black or brown embroidery thread to sew on his/her face.

  • Two small buttons, whichever colour you want your cat’s eyes to be.

  • Large eyed needle, for sewing on face.

  • Round marker, I use a small coloured safety pin.

Key:

  • ss – slip stich

  • sc – single crochet

  • sc2tog – single crochet two stitches together

  • st – stitch
